VSU women drop game one at Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WALB) -  Valdosta State softball coach says the team that hits would win the Lady Blazers DII Super-Regional series at Alabama-Huntsville.

Unfortunately for the Lady Blazers, UAH's Caitlin Lee hit a two-run homerun in the bottom of the sixth to give the Lady Chargers a 2-0 win in game one of the best of three series.

The Lady Blazers could manage just four hits off UAH's Whitney Hawkins.

Game two of the series is at 2:00 p.m. in Huntsville on Saturday and a game three will follow if the VSU wins game two.
