ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A man wanted by Dougherty County Police for two home invasions in the last three weeks is now behind bars.

Demetrise McCoy was arrested over the weekend by Albany Police at a nightclub called Rumors.

He is now in the Dougherty County Jail charged with three counts of aggravated assault, four counts of armed robbery, burglary, false imprisonment, and weapons charges.

Investigators say McCoy was involved in a home invasion robbery on Woodridge Court April 28th where a man and woman were tied up two masked men.

They say McCoy also led a home invasion on Miller Street on April 25th where three masked men tied up a man and hit him in the head with a gun.
