Albany- Tuesday night the Dougherty Youth Symphony practiced for their upcoming winter concert.
The students will give up two hours every Tuesday night until the performance, but conductors say it doesn't stand in the way of their studies.
Sergio Rodriguez says as a musician the students strive to play their best which helps them do their best in other studies..
The Youth Symphony Winter Concert will be December 17th at 7 P.M. in the Darton College Auditorium.
