ALBANY, GA (WALB) - South Georgia Wildcats quarterback Darnell Kennedy has been named the Af2's offensive player of the week for a second time in three weeks.
Kennedy threw a franchise record ten touchdown passes in the Wildcats win over Kentucky Saturday night.
His 374 yards passing were the most of any AF2 quarterback in last week's action.
The Wildcats offense wants to break ever team record this season but Darnell says he was glad the Wildcats needed everyone of his ten touchdown passes to beat the Horsemen.
Darnell Kennedy said. "It felt good doing it. I guess I was glad the score was close because I couldn't think about how many touchdown passes I was throwing. It worked out."
Former Wildcat defensive back Christian Wise of the Albany Firebirds is the AF2's Ironman of the week.
