THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - One of the brothers Thomas County investigators say stole thousands of dollars worth of items in burglaries is in jail.

32-year-old John Baker was arrested in Macon Tuesday night.

He was working for a utility company there. Deputies arrested him at the hotel where he was staying.

Investigators are still looking for his brother, 40-year-old Michael Baker.

Investigators say the men took an ATM card, electronics, jewelry, and cash two Saturdays ago from a home at the corner of Highway 122 and Lawhorne Road. Stolen items were worth thousands of dollars.
