ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A Moultrie man is in jail charged with kidnapping for forcing a woman from a Moultrie grocery store at gunpoint and holding her until police arrived.

Tanika Hightower told Moultrie police Johnny Walker took her from Motes Grocery and held her in an abandoned house in the 200 block of Second Street.

When police ordered the two out of the house, Walker told police the two had been sleeping. Hightower later led police to a gun Walker stashed in the rafters of the home. Police say the gun was stolen.
