A statement proved by the fact the Valdosta State men have repeated as the Gulf South Conference All-Sports champions.
The Blazers are the first school to win consecutive men's All-Sports titles since North Alabama did in the mid 1990's.
The Valdosta State men totaled 60 points led by the tennis team's conference championship.
Harding was second with 52 points.
The Blazers got second place finishes from baseball and basketball, third place in football and fourth in golf.
It is the sixth time the Valdosta State has won the Men's All-sports trophy.
The Lady Blazers finished fifth in the running for the Women's All-Sports trophy.
