A U.S. Small Business Administration disaster loan outreach center opened Monday at the Chamber Building One, at 1213 Vada Road in Bainbridge.
The SBA makes low-interest disaster loans to homeowners, renters and businesses of all sizes.
SBA representatives at the Bainbridge center are able to help individuals complete their disaster loan applications.
Disaster officials urge those who have received an SBA loan application after the storms and flooding of march 26 through April 13 to submit the application as soon as possible.
You must submit the application to be considered for low-interest loans and FEMA grants that cover losses such as personal property, vehicle repair or replacement, and moving and storage expenses.
People in Decatur County can continue to apply for disaster assistance by calling 800-621-fema. That's 800-621-3362.
