ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Bikers united in Albany and revved up their engines to help raise money for good a cause. Several motorcycle clubs met up at the Honda/Kawasaki dealership Saturday morning.

They had a charity ride to raise money for Throne Johnson. Johnson is an Albany native awaiting a heart transplant at Emory Healthcare in Atlanta.

"It just let me know that there are individuals in the neighborhoods and the surrounding areas that are willing to do wonderful things toward folks that they don't even know. And I am so appreciative for them being here today and being a part of this," said Throne's father, Nelson Johnson

The money raised during Saturday's fundraiser will be used to pay for the medications Johnson will need after he receives the heart transplant.
