VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - The Valdosta State tennis team did not miss their number one player.
The Lady Blazers beat Nova Southeastern 5-0 to advances to the DII regional finals.
The Lady Blazers found out this week their top player Dominque Rothlander had a broken foot and would miss the tournament.
That meant everyone else on the roster would have to move up a spot in the rotation.
The VSU women swept the three doubles matches and won the first two singles matches.
Valdosta State women will play West Florida at 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the VSU tennis courts with the winner advancing to the DII nationals.
