LEESBURG, GA (WALB) - Students at an area school got an idea on Friday of what their future careers might look like.

Sixth graders at Lee County Middle School saw vehicles that are used in more than 20 different professions.

From race cars used in the Nationwide Series to Humvees used by Marines in Iraq and Afghanistan, vehicles used in all walks of life were on display.

While these kids may seem a bit young to decide what they want to do with the rest of their lives; school officials say that its never too early to start thinking about the future.

"I think that they need to have in their mind, you know, thoughts of what they might want to do in their future. So that they can go down the right career path and the right academic path, I guess you should say, in high school," said Kelli Duke, the Assistant Principal at Lee County Middle School.

This was the first "careers on the move" event held at the school and is part of a classroom unit on careers.
