ALBANY, GA (WALB) - It appears State Representative Carol Fullerton will be reinstated on the Water, Gas, and Light Board after a letter was issued from the city Friday.
Fullerton was removed for missing three straight meetings that weren't recorded as excused. The WG&L Board wrote the city asking that those absences be excused because she was attending legislative sessions in Atlanta.
Friday the city issued their response, agreeing to accept the absences as excused and to pull the advertising that had started for her position on the board.
