MILLINGTON, TN (WALB) - The Valdosta State baseball team has reached the championship game of the Gulf South Conference tournament.
The Blazers rallied to beat West Florida 7-6 in an elimination game.
Valdosta State now gets a rematch with Southern Arkansas in the title game.
The Muleriders beat the Blazers 8-6 on Monday.
Valdosta State has to win twice to win the Gulf South title.
The game starts at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
Valdosta State has also helped their chances at NCAA DII regional bid by making the championship game.
