ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Valdosta State tennis teams are ready for regional action.

Even though the two teams will be playing in two different towns.

The men are on the road at Lynn University while the VSU women will get to play on their home court.

The news is not all good for the Lady Blazers.

Their top player Dominque Rothlander has a broken foot and will not be able to play.

Head coach John Jansen, who will be with the men this weekend in Florida, believes the women will be fine if they don't' try to play over their heads.

Jansen said. "If they can do their job and play the way we know they are capable. They will be fine. It is added pressure when you have to move up like that."

The VSU women will play their first match of the regionals at 1:00 p.m. Friday in Valdosta.
