Kentucky Horsemen quarterback Jared Lorenzen likely gives some AF2 defensive linemen nightmares.
The South Georgia Wildcats defensive front is preparing to try to tackle the former University of Kentucky quarterback this Saturday.Wildcats coach Rodney Blackshear says that Lorenzen now weighs 285 pounds.
He has also only been sacked three times this season.
Wildcats nose tackle Courtney Young, who played college ball at Indiana, has faced Lorenzen before and says it takes a special game plan to tackle the big guy.
Courtney Young said. "You hug him. It is basically a hug tackle. You hug him and wait until everybody gets there to take him down."
The Wildcats dropped to eighth in this week's AF2 coaches poll.
Game time this Saturday is 7:30 p.m. at the Albany Civic Center.
