Terrell Academy star signs with Darton softball

DAWSON, GA (WALB) - Terrell Academy first baseman Aimee Horne is looking to continue Darton College's championship run next year.

Horne signed with the Lady Cavaliers this morning.

Aimee batted .328 this season and drove in 28 runs.

Horne caught the attention of Darton coaches during her play at a camp last summer.

Aimee knows she is joining a team that will be defending a state championship next year.

Aimee Horne said. "I do want to be of some help. It doesn't matter if I play or not. I just want to try to be part of the team and try to help them in some way."

Aimee's older sister Tonya Horne plays basketball at Andrew College.
