Blazers stay alive at GSC baseball

MILLINGTON, TN (WALB) - After losing 8-6 to Southern Arkansas late Monday, the Valdosta State baseball team had their bats ready for an elimination game against Ouachita Baptist.

Valdosta State sends the Tigers back to Arkansas after a 16-1 win in seven innings.

The Blazers broke the game open with a ten run fifth inning.

Chase Blackwood hit two, two-run homeruns for the Blazers.

Valdosta State plays Harding at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Blazers need another tournament win to help their NCAA regional chances.
