Former Darton golfer makes history at Mercer

MACON, GA (WALB) - Former Darton College golfer Bill Jones has made history at Mercer.

Jones is the first golfer in Mercer history to earn an at-large bid to the NCAA regional golf tournament.

The regional will be played next week at Sorrento, Florida.

Jones helped lead Mercer to a third place finish in the conference and was named Mercer's male athlete of the year last week.
