Lee County sweeps their way to region title

LEESBURG, GA (WALB) -   There were two different baseball games played at Lee County High Friday but the result was the same for both.

Lee County sweeps a doubleheader from Westside-Macon in the 1-AAAA playoffs.

Lee County won game one 11-2.

Trojans behind Justin McCalvin win game two 1-0.

Lee County wins the series 2-0 and the Trojans are 1-AAAA champions.

Lee County will host a first round state playoff series next week.
