The Wildcats can certainly earn the respect of AF2 coaches if they can beat the defending league champions on their home turf.
Wildcats head to north Alabama to play the Tennessee Valley Vipers Saturday night.
The Wildcats won the first meeting in Albany by 22 points and know the Vipers will be looking to avenge that loss.
Rodney Blackshear said. "Obviously we are in the catbird's seat right now but our approach is not going to change. We are going to take every game as it is. It is our next opponent. It is an opponent we don't like. Each game that you play the next opponent is one you don't like. We are just going out there to win."
The South Georgia Wildcats have won four straight at Tennessee Valley.
