LOWNDES COUNTY, GA (WALB) - Road blocks around Lowndes County Saturday night and Sunday morning resulted in more than 80 arrests on all sorts of charges.

Deputies arrested two men who had outstanding warrants.  49 year-old Willie Seward was wanted for Child Molestation in Lowndes County.  23 year-old Eddy Dias was wanted for multiple traffic charges, including DUI.

The sheriff says the crackdown wouldn't have been so successful without help from other local law enforcement agencies.

"It was a very successful adventure and it was just another good example of how agencies working together makes a big difference," says Lowndes County Sheriff Chris Prine.  "I'm very proud of this community in that we're able to work together."

Fourteen people were arrested for DUI.  Fifteen were busted for drugs, including cocaine, marijuana, and meth.
