Millions of people will fly over the Thanksgiving holiday. More are expected to fly this year than last because of September 11th. Federal screeners at airports around the nation are getting ready for the influx of travelers.
"On the surface customer isn't going to notice a difference," Richard Howell, Southwest Georgia Regional Airport Director said, "Federal screeners have their routine down, doing the job faster, so they should not be any delays getting through screening."
The biggest travel days are Wednesday and Sunday. Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport expects more than one million people to board planes there in the next week.
