ALBANY, GA (WALB) - After losing to Clark in their first game of the SIAC softball tournament on Thursday, top seed Albany State got their revenge by eliminating the Lady Panthers 16-4 on Friday night at the South Commons Complex in Columbus.
Albany State now faces rival Fort Valley State at 10:00 a.m. Saturday with the winner advancing to play Miles in the championship at noon.
Albany State started their day with 11-0 win over Claflin.
The Lady Rams then eliminated west top seed Kentucky State 6-3.
