ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Deerfield-Windsor teammates Andy Clack and Lee Spratling will stay teammates in college.

Clack and Spratling are going to play at Birmingham-Southern College.

Both players made the GISA all-state team.

Andy Clack had more than 2000 total yards and 13 touchdowns the past two seasons.

Spratling played offensive and defensive tackle and caught a key touchdown pass in the Knights semifinal win over Tattnall Square.

The two friends had been hoping they could get the chance to play football at the same college.

Andy Clack said. "We talked it about for a while but I never thought it would really happen. We are going to be rooming together. Playing together. It is kind of surreal."

Lee Spratling said. "Me and Andy have pretty much been brothers since he got here from Pennsylvania. We are just real excited about the opportunity."

Birmingham-Southern is a NCAA Division III school and cannot give athletic scholarships.

Andy Clack and Lee Spratling did earn academic scholarships.
