ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Westover girls tennis team knocked off Shaw-Columbus 5-0 in the first round of the GHSA AAA girls tournament.

The Lady Patriots got straight set wins in singles from Meredith Sellers, Abby Blankenship and Lee Adams.

The #1 doubles team of Rachel Ethridge and Whitney Smith also won in straight sets and Westover won #2 doubles in a tiebreaker 11-9.

Westover will host Richmond Hill on Tuesday in a match that will also be played at Darton College.
