ALBANY, GA (WALB) - After spotting Florida A&M nine runs, Albany State rallied to force extra innings but the Rams fall to the Rattlers 11-10 on senior day.
The visiting Rattlers scored four runs in the first and added one in the second and four more in the fifth.
Albany State then answered with four in their half of the fifth and three more in the sixth.
Brandon Marcus drove in Jarvis Beck in the bottom of the 8th to tie the game at ten runs each.
FAMU's Tim Jones singled in the go ahead run for the Rattlers in the top of the tenth.
Albany State is 30-17 and closes out the regular season Monday in Americus against Georgia Southwestern in a game that was re-scheduled due to weather.
