(WALB) - Former Dougherty District Attorney Ken Hodges is running for state Attorney General.
Hodges told me Tuesday night, he plans to file a declaration of intent to accept campaign contributions Wednesday morning. That's what will allow him to start raising money for the campaign.
Hodges will run as a Democrat to replace Thurbert Baker who is running for governor.
Hodges served three terms as Dougherty DA and currently works for the Baudino Law Group in Atlanta.
He says he's been gauging support for a run the last few weeks and has been pleased with the feedback.
