LEE COUNTY, GA (WALB) - Lee County Sheriff's investigators are looking for a man they say traded drugs to have sex with a 13-year-old girl.

Lee County deputies and the GBI are trying to track down 23-year-old Jamie Maurice Smith.

He's been wanted since January on two counts of aggravated child molestation and two counts of statutory rape.

Smith is 6 feet tall and 140 pounds.

"We really want to get him off the street, for the fact of the statutory rape and aggravated child molestation charges. We definitely need to get him off the street, so call those numbers," said Lee County Sheriff Reggie Rachals.

Sheriff Rachals says the girl's mother is charged, but he could not tell us her name or the charges or other details of the case.

If you've seen Smith, call the Lee County Sheriff's Office at (229) 759-6012.
