ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Robert Ellis averaged 10 blocks per game for the Terrell County basketball team and was named defensive player of the year in region 1 A.
After a great senior season Ellis will be taking his game to the college ranks.
Family and friends gathered at Terrell County High school Monday to watch Robert sign a scholarship with Chattahoochee Valley Community College in Phenix City Alabama.
Robert says he can't wait to play college basketball.
"I really like the program because they were successful last year and I think I can add a little more to it playing basketball, blocking shots and playing good defense" said Ellis.
In his senior season Ellis averaged 14 points and 12 rebounds per game for the Greenwave.
