ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
In four seasons of coaching in the AF2 South Georgia Head Coach Rodney Blackshear had never been part of such a dominating performance.
South Georgia destroyed the Tri Cities Fever 84 to 34 on Saturday night in Kennewick Washington.
The Wildcat defense made it easy for the Wildcat offense producing 6 turnovers.
Quarterback Darnell Kennedy threw for 103 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Head Coach Rodney Blackshear says such a dominating performance is evidence that his team is buying into the system.
"The guys truly believe as a team that we our getting better every week. Each week we accept the challenge of coming off the field and this week's challenge will be Peoria" said Blackshear.
The Pirates of Peoria visit the Albany Civic Center Saturday night. Kick off is at 7:30.Feedback
