ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Students at Albany High School celebrated the influence law has on their lives Monday. Four attorney's from the C.B. King Bar Association spoke to a group of students in Simmons Hall for the 51st anniversary of Law Day.

This year's theme focused on Abraham Lincoln's Bicentennial, but many of those in attendance say the best part was being able to see and hear from other African Americans who are living their dream.

"It's important to be able to see what you want to be because than you know it is possible. And once you see it you can start going about planning how you will achieve that goal," said ASU Senior, Anthony Morman.

President Eisenhower designated May first as the national day of of Law, but it can be observed at any time during the year.
