Miller Brewing Company is giving some Albany Tech students tools for success.
Today, twenty deserving students where presented with Miller's "Tools for Success" Scholarship.
It took eight years for scholarship recipient Sonjia Lewis to earn her computer information systems degree. After retiring from the military, Sonjia returned to Albany to help repair her mother's home after the Flood of 1994, "I had to prioritize, get the house together. After doing that I wanted to study computers."
Each winner receives up to $2,500 dollars in supplies important to their career field. Sonjia is getting a new laptop computer.
