ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Looking for a weekend getaway not too far from home? Albany's Convention and Visitors bureau has partnered with motels and the South Georgia Wildcats to offer two tickets to a home game, hotel accommodations for one night and breakfast for two.
You can pick any home game date to watch the arena2 team. Plus, organizers hope you'll visit other attractions around town before or after the game.
Liz Gray said, "The CVB wants to help the Wildcats bring more visitors into the city from out of town and if they stay here overnight then that also helps the CVB and helps the whole city."
The package is available at five motels in Albany starting from $99 to $136.
Best Western's packages are $84 for upper level seats, $107 for lower level.
Country Inn & Suites: $104 (upper) or $127 (lower).
