ALBANY, GA (WALB) - When making your plans for the 4th of July holiday, you can still plan to watch fireworks in downtown Albany this summer. The fireworks show will go on for 2009.

Planning and prep work is already well underway for that show. The 2010 fireworks show is the one that is in danger of being cut because of budget constraints. Fireworks cost the city about a thousand dollars a minute... and since the shows typically last around 50-minutes, that adds up quickly.

While next year's show is in jeopardy, a final decision hasn't been made as to whether it will definitely be cut.
