Albany- Robert Coram started an 8-state promotional tour for "Boyd: The Fighter Pilot Who Changed the Art of War."

It's a biography about the late Air Force Colonel John Boyd, known as the father of the F-15.

"He did, even though nobody knows his name, he did what few people are privileged to do, and that is change the world, and I had the good fortune to be the first person to write about him," says Coram

Vice President Dick Cheney is one of the people Coram interviewed for the book. The Edison author has written 10 other books and is a former reporter for the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
