Road fatality caused by heart attack

November 19, 2002

Moultrie - New information on last Wednesday's fatality where a man drove his logging truck into a Moultrie home.

State troopers say 67-year-old Bobby Moore of Adel died of a heart attack causing him to lose control of his truck.

Moore veered off Adel Highway, went up a hill, through a chain link fence and then traveled more than 300 feet before crashing into an 80-year-old farmhouse.

Moore's death will not be added to the state's fatality rate because he died before he wrecked. No one was in the home.
