Albany-- A Dougherty County jury took just one hour before finding a mother guilty of molesting her own children.

Twenty-nine-year-old Virgie Holmes took the stand in her own defense Tuesday morning. Holmes was arrested two years ago, and prosecutors say Holmes molested her two young sons, and allowed her grandfather to molest them.

The jury convicted her on all 6 counts- each carrying a maximum sentence of 20 years. Holmes is scheduled to be sentenced by Judge Loring Gray Tuesday. The grandfather, Lloyd Phelps, is in Southwestern State Regional Hospital in Thomasville.

The children are with their father.
