ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Valdosta State jumped out to an 11-0 lead over Albany State and then the Blazers held on for a 14-8 win over the Rams.
Austin Smith was 4-5 and Jon Koenigsfeld hit a grand slam in the third inning.
Brandon Marcus was 2-5 with his 10th homerun of the season for the Rams.
