ALBANY, GA (WALB) - South Georgia Wildcats are back at home on Saturday against Tennessee Valley and wanting to get back in the win column.
Wildcats head coach Rodney Blackshear and his staff working to correct several mistakes from last week's loss at Oklahoma City.
One of the biggest areas that needs improving his penalties.
Wildcats have been flagged 32 times in three games and many of those yellow flags are being thrown on the defense.
Which many times has given the offense a first down.
Rodney Blackshear said. "On defense it is mostly jumping offsides. Hard counts and guys trying to get after the quarterback sort of speak. We just have got to learn to hold our water. We definitely have things we are working on as a team that hopefully we can correct that this week."
The South Georgia Wildcats will host AF2 champion Tennessee Valley Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Albany Civic Center.
