DECATUR COUNTY, GA (WALB) - A Decatur county man was shot and killed Tuesday night.

Investigators say 29-year-old James Curtis Christian, Sr. was shot once in the chest.

After he was shot he went to his home at 137 Bruce Road and ran up to the door.  His girlfriend said he told her he was shot then collapsed in the front yard.

He died shortly after 3 am at a hospital.

Investigators tell us they don't yet have a suspect but plan to offer a reward in the case.  If you have any information on the murder, call the Decatur County Sheriff's office.
