Colquitt County-- A man on the run from Mitchell County Sheriff deputies is found dead in Colquitt County, of an apparent suicide.

36-year-old Mitchell McCloud was facing armed robbery charges in Mitchell County.

Just before noon Friday, his body was found behind his car in some woods on County Line Road. Two people looking for dear hunting land found McCloud.

Sheriff's Capt. Hal Suber said, "He had been missing for 10 days, and we had helicopters looking for him." Investigators found a 9-milimeter Ruger pistol in McCloud's right hand.

They believe he shot himself in the head. No foul is suspected.
