ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An East Albany used car sales manager is calling for Police and community support after he found his office windows smashed and gang names painted on one of his cars Tuesday morning.

Both front windows at Albany Auto Center on Radium Springs Road were broken overnight.

A 1997 Dodge Stratus had the gang name "Crips" painted on the driver's side door, and the gang name "Bloods" painted on the passenger side.

Lawrence Porter said this is the fourth time vandals or burglars hit the business since he moved there in June.

Albany Auto Center sales manager Lawrence Porter said  "I just want them to make rounds out here at night. Keep an eye on the place, show the small business owners that they do care about them. And are here to work with them, where they will stay in business. "

Porter says they moved their business from Sylvester Road because of crime there.
