Lady Cavs suffer first region loss

ALBANY, GA (WALB) - It took almost four hours but Darton and Middle Georgia were able to get one game in their doubleheader played on Wednesday.

Middle Georgia wins a wild one 10-9 in ten innings.

Darton assistant coach Sam White says the game does count in the region standings and it is the first region loss for Darton.

It is the second day in a row the Lady Cavs played half of a doubleheader.

Coach White says the GJCAA softball tournament has been moved to the first week of May.
