Colquitt Co. - A teenage passenger was killed when a truck crashed into a fallen tree on a busy Moultrie road.

16-year old Bradley Burnham and his 17-year old passenger Casey Osbourne were driving down Old Adel Road at 10:30 Tuesday night in a red pickup truck. The pine tree had fallen on a guardrail and was laying across the road at the truck's windshield level. The two had just crossed over the bridge minutes before the tree fell, to drop off friend Keon Caldwell.

Caldwell said, "He left and the next moment I heard someone banging on the door. He was covered in blood so I called 911 from my house and we went back to the scene. They were down there before we got there."

Burnham was released from the hospital Wednesday morning but has a lot of cuts on his face. Osbourne was a night student at Colquitt County High School. Counselors are there helping students deal with the loss.
