If you’re out and about today make sure you stay hydrated. Temperatures will feel much warmer than they really are. It's the hottest day of summer and South Georgians are beating the heat by staying cool at Turtle Park. More >>

Colquitt Co. - An Adel man was killed Wednesday afternoon when his logging truck crashed into a house.  He veered off Adel Highway, went up a hill, through a chainlink fence and then travelled more than 300 feet before crashing into the front porch of an 80-year old farmhouse.

No one was in the home.

Fellow loggers say the man in his late 50s had just come from Beadles Timber company in Moultrie and was doing fine. They say he does have a history of heart condition.

The State Patrol is waiting on autopsy results to determine what caused his death.
