Albany - Bell South is taking the pages out of the Real Yellow Pages. The company is putting Albany phone numbers on a CD-Rom, in hopes of saving paper.
Businesses will benefit the most from the change because a single CD can be used to program an entire office of computers. The new software will eliminate hundreds of phone books piled up in offices around Albany.
The digital yellow and white pages will be available at the end of January.
