Lowndes County - Construction is underway on a new South Georgia golf community.

Lowndes County commissioners unanimously approved the building of a championship golf course and residential community located in the Kinderlou forest off Highway 84 West. But commissioners tabled the request for 80 acres of commercial use.

"It's going to be a PGA course designed by Davis Love, like no other in the country," said David Deloach, Developer.

The new course should be finished by January, and the residential area completed by next October.
