Valdosta State guard earns All-American honors

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Valdosta state junior guard Tyrone Curnell has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division II All-American team.

Curnell led the VSU in scoring and rebounding and was second on the team in assists.

Valdosta State finished runner up in the Gulf South Conference and made it to the DII south regionals this season.
