NICHOLLS, GA (WALB) - A three-year-old girl died in a tragic accident in Coffee County .

Nakeda Jermya Burke was playing outside her apartment on North Meeks Avenue in Nicholls Sunday when she ran into a section of unsecured clothesline. She sustained a neck injury.

Family members and law enforcement tried to revive her until an ambulance arrived, but she never regained consciousness.

Burkes body will undergo an autopsy, but investigators don't suspect foul play.
