LOWNDES COUNTY, GA (WALB) - Investigators are still working to identify a pedestrian who was struck and killed in Lowndes County Sunday. The accident happened shortly after 6:00 AM.
State troopers say a women driving a Chevy Avalanche was heading North on Georgia Seven when she drove over that man.
Troopers say that man was lying on the roadway when he was run over and may have been intoxicated. A blood test of the victim is pending.
